Don P. Stalker, CFP® Practitioner, CMFC considers the Financial Planning Process the cornerstone of his practice. Don offers time tested professional investment advice with an emphasis on retirement income. He works with individuals, families and business owners to design client specific financial roadmaps based on their personal financial goals and objectives, time-horizon and risk tolerance.
After attending California State University at Fullerton, Don became a business owner and worked in music publishing. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1985. In 1995 Don was recruited by a large national investment firm prior to establishing Bayside Financial Group in 2004.
With advances in science, medicine and healthcare, combined with an ever-changing global economy, Don and his team have developed retirement income strategies designed for retirements lasting 30 years or more. “Understanding our clients need for income they can not outlive, we have implemented programs such as our Bucket Bliss-Retirement Income portfolios that provide strategic asset allocation clients can implement to enjoy the retirement lifestyle they planned for.
As an owner of Bayside Financial Group, Don has been recognized by his peers for bringing the financial planning process to his clients; “understanding that what I do is more about how my clients behave than how their investments perform has been a critical component. My goal is to bring the financial planning process to every meeting and review, so I can share what is really important; time not timing, the power of compounding, appropriate investments, maintaining a diversified portfolio, and proper risk management.”
Don and his wife Eva (Liu) love to travel and have visited many parts of the world; from Paris & Normandy to Taiwan, China and Japan. Active in his community, Don has volunteered as a student mentor at a local high school and served on the advisory council for a group that works with developmentally disabled young adults.
